◈ What is a zine and what is this one specifically about?A zine is a self published booklet/magazine. This project is specifically a comic anthology involving comic artists, writers, and merch artists.◈ Will this be for-profit?This is a strictly P4P project as per the regulations set by the original web novel hosting site, JJWXC. Consumers will only pay the cost for production, packing, and shipping for the physical zine and merch. Donations will be used to fund physical copies and shipping for contributors.◈ Will contributors receive a physical copy?Contributors are not guaranteed physical copies, however we have included options for donations in the shop listing to help fund physical copies.◈ What is the theme for this zine?Although the general medium for the zine is comics, there is no set theme at this time. Any updates on this will be announced post announcement of the interest check results.◈ Will you be featuring ships?All ships (if any) are welcome, but must adhere to appropriate ratings set for the anthology. Please also be respectful of others’ ships, we will not tolerate any form of shaming, and or bashing.◈ What role do writers play?The zine is a primarily a comic anthology/zine, thus focus is on comics. Instead of page artists, we are recruiting comic artists who can choose to work solo or partner up with a writer. There will be no solo writer roles, only writers that are paired with an artist.Writers will be required to write a fic of 3-4k, which will be included in the zine. There are a few ways the collaboration can work:▻ The artist and writer can collaboratively discuss an idea that both parties agree on and create a fic and comic based on the agreed upon pitch.▻ The writer proposed the pitch, and the artist draws the comic based on the pitch.▻ The artist proposes the pitch and what they can draw within the allowed time for the zine. The writer will flesh out the rest of the story in their fic if possible.
